Filming at Cerney House Gardens
Cerney House Garden welcomes requests to film TV and feature programmes on the estate and has
been the setting for several such productions in the past.
- 25 minutes drive from M4 and M5 (see map)
- Good accessibility for cars and vans. Plenty of parking in adjacent fields for trailers etc.
- Grounds are quiet: half a mile to nearest A road and estate is not on any major flight paths
-
North Cerney is close to Cirencester, Swindon, Cheltenham and Gloucester (big towns with plenty of
amenities)
-
5 mins walk to Bathurst Arms (serves hot food daily). Accommodation available, including Cheltenham
Park Hotel (15 mins) for large crews
-
Gardens open to public on selected days from May to September, but can be closed to public if
required
-
On-site assistance available, including one handy man, several gardeners and our resident filming
expert, Kay
-
Kay is an experienced 2nd AD and Production/Location Assistant. She can assist with recruiting
local crew via personal contacts and local agencies, and with organising access to studio facilities
at Cheltenham Film Studios
-
Both houses are inhabited by the family. We are happy to assist a film unit by parking our vehicles
out of sight, moving objects that do not suit the genre or era of film etc.
