Since 1983, Cerney Cheese has been producing by hand a range of award-winning specialist goat's cheeses in the Cotswold village of North Cerney, Gloucestershire in the UK.
Cerney Pyramid wins Gold/Silver/Bronze medals each year at the British Cheese Awards and has been voted Supreme Champion several times (most recently 2001) by a tasting panel of industry experts at the event.
Made by hand using unpasturised goat's milk and vegetarian rennet, the Cerney Pyramid is a full fat Valencay-type cheese made from our unique starter. Shaped like a truncated pyramid and coated with an oak ash/sea salt mix from France.
The Pyramid has a fresh mild flavour when eaten at a week but will develop a deeper, fuller flavour as it matures ("Aged Cerney").
